While currently finishing up his trumpet performance program at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, Chris became the newest endorsing artist for Phaeton Trumpets.

He is currently teaching, as a private instructor and a clinician, at several public and private schools along the East coast. Chris currently resides in Schenectady, New York and recently completed a recital, with works by Handel, Gershwin, Debussy and McKee.

Chris has played in multiple different settings, including his brass quartet “Upstate Brass Quartet” and wind symphonies, performing in the “Capital District Wind Ensemble” in recent years. Currently, Chris has been playing lead trumpet in big bands in upstate New York, as principal trumpet in live performances. He recently did a virtual recording playing lead trumpet on “Minor Riff” by Pete Rugolo and principal trumpet on “Sinfonietta” by Ingolf Dahl.

As an able & proficient artist of different styles, he has performed in multiple musical stage shows and soloist at various venues, including jazz combo club settings plus an orchestral accompaniment on Richard Peaslee’s “Nightsongs”. He has also performed at numerous church services & numerous musical shows. “West Side Story” and “The Addams Family”, plus many virtuosic chamber pieces. The Little Fugue in G Minor by J.S. Bach and Eric Ewazen’s Frost Fire.

Chris was influenced by many of his music teachers in his past schooling, as well as specific performers. All of his mentors helped him grow into the outstanding musician he is today. He was first inspired to make music a career by his first music teacher, Justin Godlewski and by trumpet pro Alison Balsom. Later on,in his career, he was motivated by the Dallas Brass, Canadian Brass, Empire Brass, North Texas Wind Symphony, Adam Rapa and Brandon Ridenour.

Chris studied with some of the finest Professional Trumpet notables teaching on the East coast: XO Performing Artist, Fredericksburg Brass and Rivertide Brass Music Director, Denis Wick Performing Artist and trumpet players in Dallas Brass, Buddy Deshler; Second Chair of the Albany Symphony Orchestra , Eric Latini; Bach Performing Artist, Dr. Peter Bellino; and most recently, with former Bluecoats member and current Santa Clara Vanguard staff member, Ben Gunnarson.

Chris is now offering his professional services with Master Classes & clinics for young aspiring trumpet students looking to hone their performance skills as they move ahead with their careers. He is active & instructing at the below locations.
